Ron joined the Club in 1962, and has been instrumental in three major real estate acquisitions and several building developments at the Club’s three building sites. He has been active in Junior Sailing, serving on the Junior Sailing Committee as a member, and as chairman, for a number of years. In 2000, he founded the Annapolis Yacht Club Foundation, which in 2024 raised over $1,000,000. The Foundation supports numerous community activities, including Chesapeake Regional Accessible Boating (CRAB), and the AYC Junior Fleet, which serves more than 500 junior sailors from through out the community and the High School Sailing Program which includes sailors from five local high schools. Ron continues to be active in many of the Club’s activities while continuing his law practice as Of Counsel with Council Baradel. Ron's practice includes business law, commercial and residential lending and closings, zoning and subdivision law, and estate planning and administration. Ron provides legal advice to businesses in the Annapolis and Anne Arundel County areas. He has extensive experience in structuring commercial and residential real estate transactions and providing sound legal advice at real estate settlements. A substantial part of his practice also includes estate planning and probate of estates. |
